We are incredibly proud to share that our owner and creative director, Bronwyn Kronfeld, has been named a finalist for New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year at the prestigious Australian Hair Fashion Awards (AHFA).
This is one of the highest honours in our industry across Australasia — recognising creative leadership, technical excellence, and true artistic vision. To be named a finalist at this level is an extraordinary accomplishment and a moment of immense pride for our salon.
Bronwyn will travel to Sydney Town Hall on April 19th for the awards evening, representing both our team and New Zealand on an international stage.
Her finalist collection, titled The Forgotten Corner, draws inspiration from dolls - once loved, once held, then quietly forgotten. The collection explores themes of treasured memories and rediscovery, imagining these abandoned characters brought back to life through elevated hair artistry.
Within the collection you’ll find reinterpretations of the Rag Doll, Barbie, The Marionette, The Porcelain Doll, The Jack-in-the-box, and The Wind-up doll, each transformed with a modern, fashion-forward edge. What was once fragile becomes powerful. What was once playful becomes poised. What was once discarded becomes extraordinary. Through texture, colour, structure, and silhouette, Bronwyn breathes new life into these nostalgic figures, reimagining them as high-fashion icons.

The Forgotten Corner is emotive, striking, and beautifully detailed, a reflection of Bronwyn’s ability to merge storytelling with technical precision and bold creative direction.
We will be sharing imagery from the collection so you can experience the artistry behind this incredible nomination.
Please join us in congratulating Bronwyn on this outstanding achievement and wishing her every success on April 19th. We are so proud to have her representing us — and New Zealand — at this level
